Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 2 Corinthians 9:14 I always teach that everyone in our ministry and at St. Martins pray about a prayer partner. Someone supportive, encouraging and as well honest in their life. I used to have someone I got together with once a week to pray and just read the Word. It is a concept of mentoring or discipleship that I believe is a real blessing. It is also a very special time of of partnership in prayer that you can find focus for your life, that seems to release the anointing of God in a special way. Many times the words shared one with another as you will pray and consider the Word. Will give insight and strength into your personal life. That will help you to correct, or maintain a Godly course in your Christian life. Pray about that prayer partner and friend. It might not even be someone who you now don't count as a real friend, but whom's character in Christ who trust implicitly. Take advantage of that partnership of prayer. It truly is a valuable asset in our Christian life and a biblical powerful tool in God's hands. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19,20 Today's audio devotion is available today. Starting To Plan For 2014.
Oct. 27th, 2013 The Shepherd-Leaders of each Neighborhood Bible Group within our great state. Has begun to plan for next year's event calendar, as well what bible study to replace our current Book of John verse by verse study with. In addition to two other discipleship courses to follow up on Authentic Man, and a new one for ladies that will be introduced sometime early next year. The ministry is also starting a steering committee for next year's Campmeeting on the Plains. We only had a weekend of revival that was much for toned down this past year. It was great though! With our pastor preaching a dynamic message we will never forget, " The Great Betrayal ". The tears and the outpouring of the Spirit after that message will not soon be forgotten. The Shepherd-Leaders had their meeting through our Pulpitcalls service, but the next meeting will be here in the Omaha with breakfast and some fellowship. It should be great fun. Everyone be in prayer for the direction of the ministry and the work that is being done in the Name of the Lord. We are happy to announce that we have returned to a daily devotional format on the CGMF Prayerline. These audios will be made available on our main homepage as well at CGMF, and archived on the site as well. For now we will be using the devotional by Derek Prince " Declaring God's Word " for its basic foundation.
Our prayer is that the messages will be a blessing to your your life. To access the Prayerline message you can call 712-432-8399, then listen for the prompt to enter your conference number 584684. Enjoy your time in the Word. People have been asking me about the Discussion Forums. I have not really been making much noise about the Discussion Forums on purpose. The reason being I am trying to get other Shepherd Leaders involved and committed to help me moderate it and develop it. For there can be a lot of interaction on those boards, and consistent oversight is needed. If anyone wants to volunteer to assist Skip or I in this endeavor. Please, don't be shy to say so. Even friends outside the ministry are welcome to give us helpful insight, or invited to be a part.
I will be giving you more information on the Discussion Forums development in the next few days. If you wish to register please do so, as you can find it under the School Of Faith Section of the website. The Link: http://cgmfinc.weebly.com/school-of-faith-discussions.html#/ |
