Reverend Vossen's notes from his message today at both his CGMF Neighborhood Group and at St. Martin Of Tours. It speaks of the power of the Covenant Community that was present in the book of Acts, as well our faith & spirit. To say we were blest this past Sunday is an understatement. Sunday we gathered together some of our CGMF Neighborhood Fellowship Groups for a special Easter event and it was nothing but glorious.
We had wonderful worship and song, with Pastor Vossen singing " Rise Again " with The Faith. It was a powerfully anointed song touching so many hearts. Then we had a traditional communion in full Anglican format, LOL. It was truly an amazing time together. After communion we had prayer for the sick and the needy. Finally, the Word came forth and Pastor Vossen preached on " How to Survive And Overcome the Judas Kiss ". The work God did on peoples heart's was tremendous under His anointing. Six or more gave their hearts to God, many desired to be baptized and how many received the baptism of the Spirit. Well, we are not sure of at this point. It was like Azusa Street in Omaha. I pray you all will continue to take that anointing with you into your Neighborhood studies. Remembering not to get stuck on " What Happened ", but on " What God Is Continuing to do ". Blessings In Christ, David McMann Shepherd Leader, Bellevue Roll-out Of Our New Bible Study Groups For The New Quarter And Other News.
March 10, 2015 We have started our new quarterly series of studies for Middle School and Adult fellowship groups. They have both been well received. In my particular fellowship group we continue to teach on our yearly studies from the Common Lectionary. Our transitional groups are studying our Foundational and Shepherd series studies. I hope you all are enjoying it, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. I think our Revelation series is our first in a couple of years. Jeff and Skip are teaching classes on this study material. I will interject with two lessons on the various views on the Rapture, Tribulation and other subject matter which has evolved in church apocalyptic teaching throughout the centuries. We appreciate your prayers and fellowship all. Love you all so very much. Reverend Vossen Thank you CGMF family for allowing me a week away from service in the local body. I had a grand time with Adam and the home church in Ottawa, Illinois. We had a nice Saturday afternoon with the John Nordstrom Jr. and his dear wife. Then Sunday we worshiped together at CCC. John Jr. preached a fine message and God touched our hearts.
Skip, Mary and Jeff functioned cooperatively as usual during my time away. Helping each and every Neighborhood Fellowship to have what they needed to minister Jesus. Thank you guys so much for your efforts. I think I could go away for a month now and you'd be fine. LOL. Thanks again for your faithfulness and love. Blessings to all, Reverend Patrick Vossen Founding Pastor Between Valentine's Day banquets, and special get togethers. Many of our Neighborhood Groups had some very creative ways to share together on this past weekend. We would love you to share pictures and some of your thoughts from the weekend. I think it truly amazing how some of our couples and CGMF family members created memorable weekend's for one another. God bless you all. Here is Pastor Vossen's message he ministered this weekend. It was a truly God given Word to encourage us and keep us on course in our personal lives. Pastor has forwarded his notes so that we can look at the Word in our our own time of personal study as well. I will post it in this blog. Have a great week in Jesus. Fellowship Coordinators, Skip and Mary Two quick notes of interest for all CGMF members and friends of the ministry.
CGMF has a new web address and as well a donation feature on the website now. Our new web address is cgmfinc.com, the previous web address still functions properly. However, you now have a more simplified address to remember when contacting the ministry. In addition we have added a new donation feature through PayPal as well. Given the day we live in it has become apparent to our Shepherd Leaders that this feature needed to be added for your personal convenience, so now you only have to click the Donate button on the top menu to give to the ministry of CGMF. Other new features will be forthcoming, along with a new audio series this next year. It seems everyone enjoyed last year's series on the Blood of Jesus a great deal. That being the case, Reverend Vossen will be embarking on a new series in 2015 that we hope will be as much a blessing as the previous. We appreciate your prayers and support. CGMF is there for you, and if you need us in any way please don't hesitate to contact the ministry office. God Bless you all in His Precious Name. |
