New Quarterly Cycle Under Way At The Ministry.
Sept. 9th, 2014 CGMF has started a new quarter of classes and Neighborhood Fellowship Groups. Some have made rotational changes, and others are still in the same groups they have had all year in our Thru The Bible Program series. We are currently studying Philippians & Colossians in those studies. You should be on lesson two, " Paul's Optimism in Prison " in those studies. One new class and series has started. This will be a one year course, which I will be taking over this week. We are using David C. Cook's Essential Study Companion Commentary and will be studying from Hebrews 1:1-7, 13 on the subject of The Promise of Restoration. If you haven't received a study guide, or would like one. Please inform the ministry either through email or call us. I will detour from the lesson series periodically ( you folks are used to that, LOL ). However, it will be a unique and fun series for the year. Our study Groups Include for the Quarter 1. The Foundations Course 2. The Shepherd And His Sheep ( From the Phillip Keller Trilogy ) 3. The Foundations Course Expanded with Derek Prince's Self Bible Study exegesis and and other materials. 4. Authentic Men Series 5. Authentic Women Series 6. Covenant Worldview, a study for those who have finished the two foundation courses. 7. Thru The Bible Series 8. The new Year In A View series I am using in my personal Neighborhood Group. Please double check to make sure you are where you need to be in your classes and locations. We had a great monthly Gathering in Augusts. Seven came to know the Lord, we had four receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and three water baptized. It was a lot of fun with lots of wonderful folks worshiping God. Thanks for your all coming out last month our Eastern Zone Gathering. Skip and Mary will give you details later on the Western Zone Gathering out in the Kearney area last month. God Bless You All CGMF family, Reverend Patrick

Do you have problems listening to the voice of the Lord? Take some time and listen to this short message by Reverend Vossen on " God's Voice ". You'll be glad you did.
Talk About A Summer That Is Flying By!!!! Nevertheless, What A Summer We Have Had In His Word.
August 19th, 2014 Proverbs 20:9-11 CEB 9 Who can say, "I’m innocent to the core;I’m cleansed from my sin"? 10 False weights and measures—the Lord detests them both. 11 Even young people are known by their actions, whether their conduct is pure and upright. The last quarter my ( Reverend Vossen's ) neighbourhood fellowship group along with some others, have embarked on a wonderful journey into the book of Proverbs. The gems we have discovered, as well the truths we have unearthed have been of precious gold. I for one am going to be kind of sad when we move on from the book, because it has helped me and challenged me like no other study we have had in a long time. It has hit a variety of real close to home issues in my life, and has made us all reassess what we truly considered Godly wisdom. Many of us for instance, have found that we've been mining fool's gold ( remember that lesson folks!!!! ) as we have cherished our hollow doctrinal badges we have stuck to like a noose around our neck. Choking the very breath of God out of us, as we keep on proclaiming " Hey, but I'm in " The Club " ( the right Church, or the assembly who preaches " The Truth " ). While we deceive ourselves and justify our inappropriate actions, because we had " The Truth ". Believing that if I am somehow in " The Club ", I'm in the sheepfold of Christ and have some magical flag I can wave that can excuses me from every sin, or act arrogance in my life. We looked at biblical characters whose lives fell into this trap, as well personal life experiences this pastor has seen throughout the years. It brought tears to our cheeks and renewed hope that repentance and humility, could bring about a great spiritual change. Bringing to revival that could see the power of God express itself in a supernatural way. Not needing superficial promptings, but holy and practical spiritual yearning from the heart of man. Proverbs taught us the importance of humility and how the spirit of God could make its mark in the life of man. True wisdom can bring us true humility ( 11:2 CEB ), which in turn will allow the lamp of the Lord to shine upon the inner depths of our hearts ( 20:27 ). Let us pray that we will not forget these lessons, and believe God that a spiritual awakening has not just begun in us, but in the Whole Body of Christ as well. Here is the outlines of one of Reverend Vossen's messages for tomorrow. God bless each one of you in the CGMF family. Let's enjoy and have some great fellowship in our Neighborhood Fellowship Groups this Sunday. I just wanted to thank those whom were in my Neighborhood Fellowship Group today. Your allowing me to just minister from the heart the Word, then some of you just hanging around patiently worshiping afterwards, brought us closer to heaven than I have felt in years. I felt like I crawled out of the shadows into His presence in such a personal way. I thank the Lord that He allows opportunities like these every once in awhile, that go well beyond the norm into something extraordinary. I felt like I was on the mount of transfiguration. Thanks folks, it was a blast.
A couple of our Neighborhood Fellowship Groups are finishing there cycle of lessons on 1 & 2 Chronicles, as well as others the Book of James. Some of these groups will move into a study from the Book of Proverbs which Reverend Vossen will teach. Or, are considering a refresher on " The Shepherd's Trilogy " or " Christ in Session ". Please let us know at the office or give your Neighborhood Shepherd input on your preferences.
Next month in our Gathering for the Omaha area, Reverend Vossen will be ministering after worship. He wants you to give him any questions you have on related subjects from the studies you have taken. He is going to incorporate answers to those questions into a message he will deliver that night. You may call the office or email us with anything you might deem appropriate. God bless you all, attendance and such at our Fellowship Groups usually fall a bit during the summer, but from what we can gather all is well. We are a little down in the North Platte area, but Reverend Vossen hopes to go out there and encourage the faithful in that area in the near future. For that is where he first felt the burden for CGMF, and its birth sprung forth from that locale. With that in mind, the work there is never far from his heart. Hope you all are having a fun Summer. Here is the outline of the message Reverend Vossen preached at his Neighborhood Fellowship Group and at St. Martin's this Sunday. I want to say Happy Father's Day to any Fathers in CGMF. As well let you know we appreciate your leadership, love and strength that you extend toward your family. That has its effect within the framework of the entire ministry of CGMF. God needs solid men and examples for our children to learn from. Your character, grace and love make a unique contribution not just to your family's, but to the entire work of the community of believers here at CGMF. God bless you all
On another note, I want you to know I will be out of the office and away for the week. Adam and I, are heading to Orlando with a date with Mickey Mouse. LOL. Its a much needed time of relaxation after a busy year, and personal challenges for the both of us in the last year. We are so thankful for the love and support of friends, FGRMC, CGMF and so many. Your prayers and strength has willed us forward, amen. I hope to visit our new office being established in Florida for Focus Bible College. It is a privilege working with Dr. Tice and the other instructors at FBC. Its an honor to serve as their Vice President, and be a part of this transition in leadership and location. For the bible college will be moving to Florida completely in the next few months. After all legal paperwork, and the ability to offer degrees has been awarded. Until then we will continue to function out of the current offices in Texarkana under Dr. Tice's leadership. We should have more elasticity and opportunity to serve our students in Florida as the ministry base. FBC should also be able to begin in time to offer PH D's which we currently are not able to do at present. Be praying for the college. If you'd like to be a part and study with us at the ministry. Please don't hesitate to get a hold of us. The ministry website is http://focusbiblecollege.weebly.com/ or give us a call at 870-330-0240 or 903-375-3885. Pray for us traveling mercies. We will look forward to being back home in a week in fellowship with you. God richly bless you all in Christ's love. A Special E-Book Promo From Chosen Books. One Day Sale. June 8th, 2014
